The Mesa Prevention Alliance held its sixth annual back-to-school event at Mesa High School on July 25. The location was 1630 E. Southern Avenue.
Community Bridges planned to distribute more than 2,000 supply-filled backpacks to K–12 students and families. The event was open to everyone, with no eligibility rules or preregistration, but supplies were first-come, first-served, according to Community Bridges.
