See which Aurora offers still work, what each requires, and why an upfront prize fee should stop you.
Aurora's latest city holiday notice does not verify a current 2026 holiday giveaway. As of August 29, the usable, documented local deals below are an Aurora Water bill credit and a conditional Baskin-Robbins app reward. A holiday giveaway is a seasonal free benefit or prize.
Neither current option is a holiday promotion, but both offer measurable savings with clear eligibility and redemption limits.

Is an Aurora holiday giveaway open now?
The City of Aurora's December 3, 2025 holiday notice describes a past offer for Aurora teens ages 13–18. It included free recreation-center access, activities, and meals on weekdays from December 22, 2025, through January 2, 2026. Those dates have ended, and the notice does not establish a similar offer for the 2026 holiday season.
Treat reposts or old event listings as historical unless the city publishes new dates and eligibility details.
Aurora Water's $50 bill credit
Aurora Water customers can earn a $50 future water-bill credit by completing four listed water-wise actions. The online passport must be submitted by December 31, 2026, according to the Aurora Water program page. This is an earned account credit, not cash or a prize drawing.
Follow the four actions shown on the program page and submit the passport before the deadline. The same page advertises a $15,000 landscape-rebate grand prize, but it is not a practical new-entry option now. Eligibility required enrollment in leak alerts and Know Your Flow by July 1, before the current August 29 date.
A conditional ice cream app reward
Baskin-Robbins at 16861 E. Iliff Ave. advertises a free single scoop through its app after a first qualified purchase.
The Aurora location's offer page says the reward excludes waffle cones and toppings and expires after 45 days. This is not a no-purchase-necessary freebie because the first qualified purchase triggers the reward. Check the expiration date inside the app before planning a separate redemption visit.
How to screen a prize notice
Colorado law prohibits sweepstakes sponsors from requiring payment to award a prize or provide prize information, according to Title 6 of the Colorado Revised Statutes. A winner notice demanding an upfront fee is therefore a serious warning sign. Before responding:
- Compare the sender with the sponsor's published website and contact information.
- Check the promotion's dates, location rules, and eligibility terms.
- Do not pay to receive a prize or learn how to claim it.
- Stop if the message pressures you to act before you can verify the terms.
