Track Anchorage ticket chances by sponsor dates, subscriber rules, and student ID limits before you enter or travel.
Legit event-ticket giveaways near Anchorage come from the sponsors themselves: 106.5 KWHL for a sold-out Eagle River rock show, Anchorage Concert Association subscriber drawings, and free UAA regular-season game admission for qualifying students. These are a mix of a chance to win and a direct admission benefit, not cash deals or reseller discounts. A giveaway means entry for a chance to win tickets, while free admission means you show valid proof and walk in.
Check dates and entry windows before you act, because expired posts and resellers do not prove an active offer.
Verification note: Program terms and availability can change. This page was checked against linked sources on October 07, 2026.
What is available for the Eagle River rock show?
Alpha Media/KWHL says its Nov. 14, 2026 Paradise Slaves show at Odd Man Rush Brewing in Eagle River is sold out. The station will give away tickets through call-in cues and text-ins starting the week of Oct.
19, according to the KWHL show page. That timing matters if you live near Anchorage. Today is Oct.
7, so the entry window has not opened yet. Listen for the cue, then call or text exactly as announced.
How do Anchorage Concert Association drawings work?
The Anchorage Concert Association says season subscribers are automatically enrolled in free-ticket drawings throughout the season. Subscribers claimed over 500 free tickets in the 2025/2026 season, according to the Association subscribe page. This is a subscriber perk, not a public contest.
The same page lists 21 shows for Sept. 2026 through May 2027, with individual tickets sold through CenterTix. You enter by holding a subscription, then follow claiming instructions if drawn.
Who gets free UAA games without entering?
University of Alaska Anchorage Athletics says UAA students taking 6 or more Anchorage-campus credits can attend all regular-season games free with a valid WolfCard. Guests cost $5 each, according to the UAA ticketing information page. Bring your WolfCard and confirm your credit load before game day.
The guest option helps if you bring one friend, but each guest still needs a paid ticket.
How do you avoid expired offers?
Treat every Instagram post, forwarded text, and resale listing as a lead, not proof. Alaska Airlines Club 49 Hub shows why: its PFD Go Anywhere Giveaway ran Sept. 29-Oct.
1, 2026, with drawing Oct. 2, so that window is now closed, as shown on the Club 49 rules page. Use this quick check before you share personal details:
- Open the sponsor page and confirm start, end, age, and residency limits.
- Look for entry method, prize count, and drawing date in the rules.
- Skip resellers, screenshots, and old posts with no current rules link.
- Never pay to enter a no-purchase-necessary drawing.
